Introduction

Open OnDemand is an open-source web portal that allows users to access high-performance computing (HPC) systems and supercomputers directly from a standard web browser. It removes the need for complex command-line interfaces, making supercomputing accessible from anywhere.

The UCF ARCC hosts an instance of Open OnDemand available at https://arcc-ood.ist.ucf.edu

You must have an existing account on the ARCC to use this resource, for more details see the access section. Also, as with most UCF internal resources, users need to connect to the UCF VPN first before accessing the site.

Note

Open On-Demand does not replace command-line access via SSH, but rather it's a complementary interface for users who prefer a visual workflow or need to use remote desktop applications.
