SSH from Linux/Mac

What you'll need:

  • UCF VPN (only needed if not connected to UCF internet)
  • An SSH client (included by default in almost all Linux and Mac versions)
  • An account with the ARCC
  • Your UCF NID

Both Linux and Mac users can follow the following steps to connect to the ARCC clusters:

  • Open your terminal
  • Type ssh NID@stokes.ist.ucf.edu or ssh NID@newton.ist.ucf.edu
  • Type in your UCF password
